A total lunar eclipse, also known as a "blood moon," will occur on September 7–8, 2025, and will be visible across much of the globe, including Europe, Africa, and parts of Asia and Australia. The eclipse will last for about 82 minutes, with the moon appearing red as it passes through Earth's shadow. While the entire event won't be visible from North America, some phases may be seen before moonset.
